George Pursall

George has always had a huge passion for films and storytelling. After graduating with a degree in film and video production in 2007, George spent a few years making and editing music videos and short films before joining The Underwater Channel in 2009.

Working with stars such as David Hasselhoff and television presenter Monty Halls, George helped to create pioneering content at one of the world’s first online only channels.

George went on to work with director and writer Gareth Jones in 2012 as the editor for the feature film Delight, starring Jeanne Balibar and Tim Dutton. The film opened the Moscow International Film Festival in 2013.

George joined Sparkly Light in 2014. While working for the company, he has edited a vast range of content, spanning everything from Shakespeare plays for The Globe Theatre to documentaries for the BBC, including the Museum From Home series of films that were released in the Spring of 2020.

Alongside his work for Sparkly Light, George continues to edit films for the BBC as well as frequently working with the video production team at The Daily Telegraph.

George’s passion for storytelling remains undiminished and he always strives to ensure that the content he edits meets the highest narrative and professional standards.
