Ian is the award-winning Producer and Director behind Sparkly Light. He has been responsible for some of the most memorable television broadcasts of the last two decades and now, with Sparkly Light, Ian is bringing his extraordinary production experience to an even wider range of projects.

Whatever the production, however large or small, it is sure to benefit from Ian's experienced and creative approach.

Whether covering drama for cinema screens worldwide, televising live events for international audiences or making films destined for the web, Ian believes it’s vital to bring a fresh creative view to each project. It’s an approach he’s adopted over decades of working across the breadth of the industry.

It’s this built-from-the-ground-up, bespoke approach that gives every project a firm footing. Its all-important essence has to be discovered first; only when the vital structures and unique details are revealed, can the tale it has to tell be defined.

It’s also a key part of Ian’s Sparkly Light philosophy to consider a project as a whole, carefully constructing its editorial, while, hand-in-hand, shaping its production to fit its intended platform.

Ian has worked with many of the UK's most accomplished presenters including: Clive Anderson, Matt Baker, Sue Barker, Clare Balding, Jeremy Clarkson, Fearne Cotton, Barry Davies, David Dimbleby, Huw Edwards, Stephen Fry, Richard Hammond, Rolf Harris, Jake Humphrey, John Inverdale, Hazel Irvine, Sir Patrick Moore, Graham Norton, Sir Michael Parkinson, Sophie Raworth, Steve Rider, Jonathan Ross, Dan Snow and Sir Terry Wogan.

Among the artists Ian has worked with are: Gary Barlow, Nicola Benedetti, Andrea Bocelli, José Carreras, The Corrs, Angela Georgiou, Keane, Nigel Kennedy, Barry Manilow, Brian May, Kylie Minogue, Paolo Nutini, Ocean Colour Scene, Lionel Richie, Simply Red, Heather Small, The Spaghetti Western Orchestra, Curtis Stigers, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Westlife and Will Young.
